A bond reduction, request for bond reduction and the issuance of search warrants are the latest updates in the case against Jacoby Goehler, 19, Jennifer Bowman- Harnden, 40 and Eugene Barker, 19, the trio charged in the murder of DavidLee Stansbury in April in Fulton County.

According to documents filed in the Fulton County Courthouse, search warrants for the cell phones and iCloud accounts for Goehler, Bowman-Harnden and Barker were issued Aug. 9, and set to be carried out Aug. 13.

On July 27, Bowman-Harnden appeared in court with her attorney and was granted a bond reduction.

The bond is now set at $150,000 cash or professional and stipulations also state if she does bond, she must provide a drug test once a week and any missed or positive tests will result in incarceration.

Her initial bond was set at $250,000.

On July 5, Barker’s attorney Michael Kiel Kaiser of Lassiter & Cassinelli, filed a motion for modification of bond to the level commensurate with the defendant’s meager financial resources.

In the motion, Kaiser states Barker is “not in a position to abscond” and that “The current bond is improper in that it specifically assures that Barker’s pretrial release remains out of his reach due solely to his financial condition…”

Barker through his attorney requested the bond be reduced to $25,000.

“Barker respectfully requests a bond reduction to $25,000 and is prepared to submit to any additional conditions the Court deems necessary,” the motion states. “Barker is charged alongside a co-defendant Jacoby Goehler, who also stands charged with Murder in the First Degree in case number 25CR-21-35. Despite Goehler alleged to be the actual shooter, his bond was set at the same $500,000.00 as Barker’s by the District Court.”

A bond hearing has been set for Aug. 18 for Barker.

Goehler’s bond in the murder case remains at $500,000 as does his bond for charges acquired following an escape attempt from the Fulton County Jail in June.

Goehler has been charged with murder in the first degree, a class Y felony; Bowman-Harnden faces charges of conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree, a class A felony and Barker also faces murder in the first degree, a class Y felony.
