Bobby Flickinger, 89, of Garfield, Arkansas, passed away, Friday, December 1, 2023, in Rogers, Arkansas.
He was born in Joplin, Missouri, on May 19, 1934, son of the late Leonard and Veta (Raider) Flickinger. Bobby was united in marriage to Dorothy Lorane Holland on December 31, 1963, in Yakima, Washington. During his working years, Bobby worked as a restoration specialist and restored several homes of Presidents. He was also a past Mayor of the City of Garfield, Arkansas. Bobby was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church in Seligman, Missouri. He loved the Lord dearly and enjoyed teaching Sunday School and preaching when needed. Bobby was a hard worker and loved his family very much.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Dorothy Flickinger of Garfield, Arkansas; sons, Byron (Julie) Flickinger of Lowell, Arkansas, Brant Flickinger of Memphis, Tennessee, Mitchell (Linda) Warner of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Daniel Warner of Cleveland, Ohio; daughters, Ellie Hobelmann of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Deloris Warner of Cleveland, Ohio; brother, Jerry Max Flickinger of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Kassidy Flickinger(Ashely), Stephan Flickinger (Chelsey), Bobbi Jo Flickinger, Collin Flickinger, J.J. Keener, Brian Keener, Austin Warner and Courtney Warner and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Brett Flickinger and Brian Flickinger; three brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, December 5, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM at Elizabeth Cemetery in Elizabeth, Arkansas, with Bro. Ray Gene Holland officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1:30 PM at the cemetery.
