Tennessee Bureau of Investigation posted a missing person alert for the state of Tennessee.


Have you seen this woman or vehicle?

At the request of our partners at the Memphis Police Department, we are asking for your help in locating Eliza “Liza” Fletcher.

She was forced into a vehicle this morning [Sept. 2, 2022] in midtown Memphis while running at approximately 4:30 a.m.

Investigators believe Eliza’s abductors were in the vehicle pictured below. It’s a dark-colored SUV. There is no known direction of travel.

We’ve also included a photo released by MPD of Eliza while she was running this morning.

Liza is 34 years old. She 5’6”, 137 lbs., with brown hair, and green eyes. She was wearing a pink jogging top and purple running shorts.

[Eidtor’s note: Eliza “Liza” Fletcher is the married mother of two and a pre-K teacher at St. Mary’s in Memphis. We sure hope they find her in good shape and soon! She was abducted near the University of Memphis and a $50,000 reward has been offered by her family for information leading to her safe return and the arrest of those responsible for her abduction.]
