The Christmas season continues and if you’ve been unable to attend the Christmas parade’s happening thus far in the tri-county area, you’ve got one more opportunity.

The Kiwanis “Wisemen Still Seek Him” Christmas Parade will be held Dec. 17 in Cave City.

Lineup for the parade begins at 4 p.m. at the Cave City Middle School parking lot with the parade starting at 5 p.m. ending at the Cave City Park.

If you’re looking for something naughty or nice, well, you’re in luck. Both The Grinch and Santa will make an appearance and will be available for pictures.

There will also be popcorn and cocoa provided by the Kiwanis and hotdogs provided by Unifirst.

If you’re feeling a little deprived on Christmas caroling, you won’t be for long as the First Baptist Church will sing Christmas carols as part of the event.

The Cave City Kiwanis will also have a box set up for donations which will be taken to the Cave City Food Bank.

Prizes will also be awarded for best float in the amount of $250 for first, $150 for second and $100 for third place.

Registration has ended for the Cave City Lighting Contest but judging will begins Dec. 13 and run through Dec. 17. Winners will be notified Dec. 21.If you’re unable to attend the parade, but would like the opportunity to visit with Santa or the Grinch, be sure to stop by the Cave City Library Dec. 13 at 4 p.m. for story time.
