Are you looking for a fun and unique way to celebrate Leap Year? If so, The Highland Future Farmers of America (FFA) has you covered and is now selling tickets for the upcoming Donkey Ball game slated for Feb. 29.

According to FFA President Danika Birkhead, tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door, children age four and under get in free.

This year, Birkhead said those who wish to participate in the game itself must meet a goal in order to do so.

“…If you want a good laugh and want to watch a bunch of high school kids get beat up by donkeys, you can grab a ticket in advance,” Birkhead said. “In order for a member to ride they have sell 10 tickets… It’s a fun time you don’t wanna miss!”

The game will be held Feb. 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the High School Gym.

To purchase tickets, contact Birkhead by text at (870) 847-3501 or any Highland FFA member.
