A woman has been charged in Fulton County Jan. 26 after authorities say, they received a call from of shots being fired at a home from a vehicle off Preacher Town Trail.
When Deputies arrived on scene, they met with 42-year-old Tiffany Rommel who had locked herself inside the vehicle and refused to comply with deputy commands.
Rommel admitted to the deputy that she had fired a gun and that it was in the driver’s door but refused to allow the deputy to retrieve the firearm.
Rommel was removed from the vehicle and placed under arrest.
Prior to removing her from the vehicle, Rommel was allegedly seen tossing items out the window.
After she had been secured in a patrol unit, a search of the area was conducted and a green vegetable substance and paraphernalia were discovered.
As a result Rommel faces charges of unlawful discharge of a firearm from a vehicle, a class B felony; and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
Bond for Rommel was set at $10,000.
