February is National Children’s Dental Health Month and the Williford Library is giving away oral hygiene kits.
According to Library Manager Bernadine Hull, the kits were sent to the library from the Arkansas State Library.
“We’re giving away free toothbrush, floss and toothpaste kits while supplies last,” Hull said. “They are here now and ready for pickup!”
The hope is not only to encourage families to practice oral hygiene, but to equip them with the necessary tools.
Brushing your teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, flossing daily and visiting your dentist twice a year can help prevent damage to teeth.
The Williford Library is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
