Amy Finster, the Community Engagement Coordinator for WRMC, presented a check for $1500 to Highland School District Superintendent Don Sharp and Director of Public Relations Kasey Carter. The $1500 was a portion of what was raised during WRMC’s annual 5K walk/run. The walk/run benefits backpack programs at many schools in the Northcentral Arkansas area. The Highland School District split the $1500 into $500 for each of their school’s backpack programs.
