CAVE CITY, AR – As part of the 2025 Watermelon Festival celebration, the Cave City Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the Watermelon Crawl — a town-wide business passport event running Thursday, July 24 through Saturday, July 26.

The Watermelon Crawl invites festivalgoers to explore the best of Cave City’s local shops, restaurants, and services while collecting stamps at each participating location. Visitors who complete their Crawl Passport by Saturday at 5:30 PM will be entered to win exclusive prizes, including a Meet & Greet with Diamond Rio, headlining Saturday night at the festival.

“The Watermelon Crawl is about shining a light on Cave City’s small businesses and all they have to offer,” said Brandi Schulz, Executive Director of the Cave City Area Chamber of Commerce. “We want visitors to come for the festival — but leave with a deeper connection to the town, its people, and hopefully, a reason to come back.”

Participants can pick up their Crawl Passport at the Chamber Booth starting Thursday at 5:00 PMand begin visiting listed businesses throughout Cave City. Each stop offers a chance to discover unique storefront displays, in-store specials, and the town’s signature small-town hospitality.

The Crawl also features Window Wars, a storefront decorating contest where visitors and locals can vote for their favorite window displays. Crawl participants will receive one official voting ticket with their passport, while locals can pick up a green voting ticket at City Hall starting Monday, July 21.

Winning businesses will be recognized on Monday, August 4 with a traveling trophy and special category awards for creativity, theme alignment, and visual impact.
