Two men are facing felony charges in Fulton County after helping themselves to items at the Dockins Storage units on Hwy 62.
According to the affidavit for warrant of arrest for 60-year-old Kendall Tuller and 46-year-old Floyd Gailbraith filed May 23 in Fulton County, on May 21 authorities were contacted regarding items missing from the storage shed.
When they arrived on scene, the owner of the sheds showed video footage of the two men, one of which was familiar to law enforcement, in a step side Ford Ranger with front end damage, load a cement mixer that was in front of the building into their truck.
Other items, including a small bumper pull trailer with a welder mount were taken from the property as well.
Dockins said the trailer had a large strip of tape with the price and the word“sold” on the side of the welder prominently displayed.
Authorities then contacted Probation Parole Officer Steve Simers, who is Galbraith’s probation officer and was informed Galbraith was overdue for a visit.
Simers contacted Galbraith and told him to come in for a visit, when he arrived, the officer was notified and upon arrival, saw the same Ford Ranger from the video In the parking lot as well as Tuller in the truck.
Tuller was placed under arrested for felony theft, at which time Tuller said Galbraith had told him the items were some things from a yard sale which were free.
Galbraith was arrested next and also said he thought the items were left over from a yard sale and were free, despite the labels stating the items were for sale.
The items were located at a home on Clover Leaf Trail in Glencoe, with the exception of the concrete mixer which has yet to be found.
As a result, both Tuller and Galbraith have been charged with felony theft of property.
Bond has been set at $5,000 for each man.
