TNT Gymnastics finished their gymnastics season on March 7that the Arkansas Xcel All-Star Meet. All Xcel Silver and Bronze teams in the state of Arkansas met in Paragould to crown our State Champions. The TNT Gymnasts were at the top of their game with 12 of the 15 gymnasts earning at least 1 personal best score.
The TNT Bronze team placed 6th out of 12 teams and TNT gymnasts secured 3 individual state champion titles and 1 All-Around Champion title. Laney Scheel earned the prestigious Xcel Bronze All-Around Champion title with a consistent performance in every event placing 2nd on Bars, and 2nd on Beamand Floor with personal best scores. Ariyah Clouse topped the podium as well placing 2nd All-Around in their age group. Ariyah was the Vault Champion with a personal best and walked away with the Balance Beam State Champion title. Kyilen Mott also placed 2nd in the All-Around of her age group by placing top 3 in three events including a State Champion titleon the Floor having the 3rd highest floor score of the 100 Bronze gymnasts competing. Aubrey Delargy placed 4th in the All-Around, 2nd on Vault and 4th on Floor. Jayla Belleton placed 5thon the Floor with a personal best score. Keira Stalnacker placed 4th on Floor with a personal best score and 5th on Bars. Paris Conforth placed 6th on Vault.
Our Silver team was up against some great competition as well,placing 5th out of 20 teams and came within .6 of earning the 1stplace team championship. There were many outstanding individual performances helping TNT earn 2 All-Around Champion titles and 6 individual event champion titles. YashariWoolbright, with all personal best scores, led the team with 3 individual championships on Vault, Beam and Floor and placed 2nd on Bars earning her an Xcel Silver All-Around State Champion title with the highest All-Around score of the entire Silver competition, topping all 170 gymnasts. Maelyn Reiter had the best meet of her career and earned herself an All-Around State Champion title with the 5th highest score of the meet, also a personal best score. Maelyn also added Vault and Floor Champion titles. Aurora Scheel, who nearly had back-to-back State All-Around Champion titles, placed 2nd in the All-Around but did earn an individual State Champion title on Vault. Oakley Fogg-Schalau finished an amazing first season in which she started on the Bronze Team and climbed all the way up to place2nd on Vault, 3rd on Beam and 3rd All-Around as a Silver. Carly Williams had a personal best score on Vault which earned her 2ndplace and was 4th on Floor. Teri Davis placed 4th on the Floor with a personal best score. Shy Wolf had a personal best score on Bars and placed 9th. Lilly Holms placed 5th on Vault and Bars and had her personal best on the Floor.
TNT now sets their sights on the Xcel National ChampionshipMeet at the beginning of June in Hilton Head, South Carolina,and beginning the 26-27 season. New team members will be joining the team in March and April.
