Snowfall of March 9-10, 1984…
On March 9-10, 1984, snow fell in much of the central portion of Arkansas. The heaviest snow fell in a two to four inch band from west of Russellville, through Little Rock to Helena.
In the Little Rock metro area, four to five inches fell. The snow was a heavy, wet snow. At the NWS office, personnel recalled the snowflakes were so large they could be heard hitting the ground from inside the building.
