This day in Arkansas history- March 1, 1997

On this day in 1997, a major tornado outbreak occurred. There were 16 tornadoes spawned, and three of these were rated F4. Twenty people were killed, with most fatalities along Interstate 30 from Arkadelphia to Little Rock.
