Heavy Rain and Flash Flooding in Central Arkansas, July 3-4, 1932…On July 3-4, 1932, three to five inches of rain fell in central Arkansas, causing flash flooding in the Conway and Little Rock area. A train was derailed southeast of Little Rock after the gravel and ballast under the tracks was washed away.
