The Culinary Arts program recently hosted an Italian themed couples cooking class. Held on Ozarka’s Melbourne campus, the event showcased cuisine that was enjoyed by the couples after successfully executing the recipes with hands-on assistance from Ozarka’s chefs.
Under the guidance of Ozarka’s chefs, couples worked together to prepare a delectable array of dishes including Focaccia bread, Italian dipping sauce, Chicken piccata served over fettuccine noodles with a lemon and caper sauce along with Limoncello Tiramisu. Proceeds from couples’ class will help fund the Culinary Club.
“We had a fantastic group for our first couples cooking classwith a mix of adults and a couple of kids, it was fun for all,” said Chef Brioney Edwards, Ozarka College Lead Culinary Faculty. “We look forward to our next class as well as the cake decorating class coming in April.”
