Highway 228 west of Sedgwick is scheduled to close from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 16.
Weather permitting, Highway 228 will close from Highway 63 to Highway 91 to allow crews to replace a pipe culvert. The highway will remain open to local traffic only.
Traffic can detour using Highways 63, 91, and 230. Traffic on the east side of the closure can take Highway 63 north to Highway 91 south back to Highway 228, or Highway 63 south to Highway 230 west to Highway 91 north back to Highway 228. Traffic on the west side of the closure can take either route in the opposite direction.
