The team at St. Bernards First Care in Highland are once again partnering with the community to help take care of man’s best friend through their Third Annual Paws for Claus event.

A donation box has been set up in the entry way of the clinic located at 1995 HWY 62/412 in Highland to help gather items needed by the animals housed at the Cherokee Village Animal Shelter for the Christmas season.

Items needed include cat and dog toys, clumping kitty litter, soft cat food, dog food, soft blankets and collars and leashes.

“We’re asking for donations to support our sweet furry friends at the Cherokee Village Animal Shelter during the Christmas season,” said a representative from the clinic.

If you have any questions about donating, contact St. Bernards First Care at 870-856-5620.
