Natural State Relics in Horseshoe Bend, AR, will be accepting electronic items for recycling. Electronics are not easy to recycle, and local recycling centers don’t have a good way for dealing with them. Natural State Relics is stepping forward to provide a solution for the surrounding communities’ need to dispose of defunct or obsolete devices.
Examples of electronic devices that can be recycled with Natural State Relics include flat screen monitors or TVs, computers, cell phones, outdated IT equipment, fax machines or printers. “If it has a cord…we’ll take it.”
Natural State Relics is located on the upper level of the Diamond B Mall, 811 2nd Street, Suite 10, Horseshoe Bend, AR. They can be reached by phone at (870) 670-5161. The store will be open Tuesday through Saturday of each week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. During the month of March, hours are extended to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.
Another opportuntity to have electronics recycled by Cherokee Village will be when the City of Cherokee Village holds it’s fifth free drop off event on April 15 at the Tekakwitha Drive municipal garage location. This event is intended for Cherokee Village Residents and Natural State Relics will be collecting electronic “throw aways” as an addition the event which does not normally accept electronics. Cherokee’s event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., but Natural State Relics’ schedule for participation is not set as of press time.
