Following the Veteran’s Day ceremonies in Ash Flat, the Cherokee Village Peace Lutheran Church held a spaghetti dinner fundraiser to help ease the burden of cost for much needed repairs of the Ash Flat Veteran’s Memorial.
According to Jean Crossett, through the support of the community, the event raised over $3,300.
On Nov. 22, Crossett and other members of the church presented Ash Flat Mayor Larry Fowler with a check for $3,362.
