Psalm 40:3         (KJV)
And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.

What’s the new song in your mouth and heart today?  Is it a new song or are you still singing the song of “Gloom, despair and agony on me, deep dark depression excessive misery”?  It’s time we begin singing the new song of the blessings of God.  God has put a new song in our heart as He leads us and directs our path.  Our new song is a song of praise and thankfulness.  Remember, “Give thanks in all things”.  So, we praise God for where we are.  Think about it; it could be worse!  But we are here and it’s a new day and we can sing a new song.

Are you singing a new song of deliverance?  Has God delivered you from some bad habit you were attempting to break?  Sing about it!  Has God given you a new opportunity that you thought was impossible?  Sing about it!  Let the world here your new song.  Your song can help someone today.  Your song can make a difference in someone’s life.  But it will never make a difference if you don’t sing it.  So, sing the new song!

It’s an old song but it can be sung with new feelings and expression.  Think about “Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine”.  We can sing about the assurance we have in Jesus that our sins have been forgiven.  We can sing about the assurance that our name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.  Now that’s something to sing about!  Sing about how deep you had fallen in sin but Jesus and His love lifted you to new heights.  It may be old songs but we can sing with a newness of heart.  There is within my heart a new song and I will sing, sing, and sing.

We get excited about some new song we hear on the radio or on line.  We have a new song in our heart that excites us.  And our song can and will change the lives of others.  Stop singing the old songs of defeat and sing the new song of Jesus and His grace and mercy.  We can all sing a new song about the love, grace and mercy of God.  So, sing, sing, and sing!   The world needs to hear your new song.  It’s the song God has put into your mouth.  So sing loud and long.  Let the world hear you song!

I have prayed for you this morning.    I pray that each of us will sing our new song and let the world hear our song.

Bro. Tom
