The American Legion Post 346 and VFW Post 4772 have partnered once again with the Highland School District to hold a Veterans Day event at the school beginning at 9 a.m. Nov. 10.
For those unable to attend, a second opportunity to celebrate area veterans will be held Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at the Ash Flat Veterans Memorial. Organizer Col. Dick Sackett said this year’s speaker will be District 3 Veteran Services Officer Hollie Schoma.
The Cave City Middle School History Club will host their annual Veterans Day luncheon and program at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church FLEC Building Nov. 10.
On Nov. 11 at 3 p.m., a Veterans Day Parade will be held in Hardy on Main Street.
