A Williford teen has entered a plea of not guilty to the charge of rape (forcible compulsion), a class Y felony before Judge Rob Ratton in Sharp County Circuit Court Feb. 20.
According to court documents filed Feb. 12, 18-year-old Malakye Roy Jones received his first appearance and has been ordered to wear a GPS monitor. He has been ordered to house arrest with the exception of doctors appointments, court and church per the prosecutor’s request.
The details in the case have been sealed. A jury trial has been slated for Aug. 12 with a motion and plea date of July 15 if needed for plea or motions.
