The Sharp County fair, slated for July 5 – 10 is quickly approaching and according to Sharp County Fair Board Advisor Chelsea Conway, t-shirt orders and fair books are now available.
“We will be selling Sharp County Fair t-shirts! This years color is red. The front has a beautiful logo and the back has a list of our sponsors who have made this possible,” Conway said.
Shirts this year are $10 each for sizes youth small to 3XL.

“Shirts will need to be paid for before fair week. Make sure if you leave a comment on the Facebook page, that you are leaving on the original post and not the post of someone who shared it,” Conway said.
Additionally, the Sharp County Fair Books are ready and will be distributed this week.
The books have a complete schedule of the upcoming events which will take place during the week of the fair.
The books will be available at many area businesses, as well as, the extension office.
“You can now go to the Sharp County Extension Office and get a book, your exhibitor number, and exhibitor tags! The Extension office is open Monday – Friday 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Sharp County Courthouse.”
Conway also had a message for those planning to exhibit items during the fair.
“All items must be pre-registered. Check in for the fair will be Monday, July 5, from 2 p.m until 7 p.m.,” Conway said. “There will be three date options for check out of exhibits. Those dates are: Saturday, July 10 from 8 p.m. -9:30 p.m.; Sunday, July 11 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and July 12 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.”
All exhibits must be picked up on one of these three days during the designated times.
