Over the weekend, members of the Cherokee Village SkyWarn/SAR were certified to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Team member Pamela Rowland posted, “Congratulations to the Search and Rescue Team!!! All members got their CPR certification yesterday. Another step in building an amazing volunteer team to aid in the betterment of the community.”
When asked if Radar was certified, too, Pam said, “Well, not in CPR, but he’s off training with Dave McKown at Angel K-9 Solutions and he’d doing an amazing job. We can’t wait to see what he’s capable of.” Radar is in training for Search and Rescue so that the community will have him available locally when someone goes missing.
