Ozarka College is pleased to offer a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Fast-Track Course at its Ash Flat campus this summer. This accelerated three-week program, running from May 5 – May 27, 2025, is designed to equip students with essential healthcare skills while preparing them for state certification. The deadline to register is May 1, 2025.
The course will be held Monday through Thursdayfrom 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with clinical days and times to be announced. The total cost per student is $800, with Employer Sponsorships and Workforce Scholarships available to assist with tuition.
“This CNA course is a great opportunity for individuals looking to start or advance their careers in healthcare,” said Caroline Smith, Ozarka College Allied Health Instructor. “With hands-on training, expert instruction, and financial assistance options, students will be well-prepared to enter the workforce and make a difference in patient care.”
Students enrolled in the CNA course will receive:
* TB skin testing
* CPR certification
* Mandated Reporter Training
* CNA supplies bag
Following course completion, students will take their state certification exams on campus. Testing fees are not included in tuition and are as follows:
* Written exam: $30
* Skills exam: $95
* Total: $125
* Headphone accommodations: Additional $10 fee
Students who provide a letter of intent to hire from an approved healthcare facility may have their state testing fees waived.
Ozarka College encourages Arkansas residents with a high school diploma or GED to apply for scholarship funding. Applications must be submitted by April 5, 2025, and students must list Ozarka College as their institution when applying.
Additionally, Ozarka’s Career Pathways Program offers financial assistance for parents or legal guardians who meet income guidelines. Eligible students may receive support for:

* Childcare
* Travel reimbursement
* CNA testing fees
* Course-related supplies
