We are proud to announce that Wanda McConnaughhay of Melbourne, Arkansas has been selected as Ozarka’s Employee of the Quarter.

Beginning work at Ozarka in 2007, McConnaughhay began serving as an Administrative Specialist for Student Services where she has worked tirelessly these many years to help Ozarka students and her colleagues. Wanda announced her upcoming retirement from Ozarka earlier this year and later this month Ozarka will gather to celebrate her 15 years of dedicated service to the College and her recent recognition as Employee of the Quarter.

“Wanda is most deserving of this prestigious recognition; she has always focused on students’ success and I am proud to call her a colleague,” said Dr. Richard Dawe, Ozarka College president. “We wish her the very best in her retirement; she will be dearly missed.”

“Wanda is going to be truly missed. Not only did she do a fantastic job making students feel at ease throughout the admissions process, but she is also one of the most generous people you will encounter, frequently supporting philanthropic activities on campus,” said Zeda Wilkerson, vice president of student services. “She genuinely cares for students, co-workers, and the mission of Ozarka College. We wish her the very best in her retirement.”

The College will host a farewell fellowship for Wanda on July 28 in the Student Services Center on the Melbourne campus.

From all of your Ozarka Family, we wish you well, Wanda!
