Mountain View, Ark. – Mark your calendars for March 12, 13 & 14. The Mountain View Spring Bluegrass Festival returns to the Ozark Folk Center State Park in Mountain View for three days and two nights of traditional bluegrass and gospel music. The twice-yearly event held during the second weekend in March and November combines some of the biggest names in bluegrass with some of the region’s most popular bands. The line-up this March includes The Seldom Scene, Dave Adkins & Mountain Soul, Junior Sisk, Chosen Road, Mike Mitchell Band, Spillwater Drive, Appalachian Smoke, The New Primitive, Headin’ Home, the Redmond Keisler Tribute Band, and special appearances by the Music Roots Ensemble and Simply Southern Cloggers.
Thursday evening kicks off with an all-gospel show at the Ozark Folk Center’s 1,000-seat indoor music venue, Ozark Highlands Theater, beginning at 6 p.m. with the Redmond Keisler Tribute Band, Headin’ Home, Appalachian Smoke, Chosen Road and Dave Adkins & Mountain Soul. The show will close with a $100 cash drawing at 10 p.m.
The Friday matinee opens with a performance by Simply Southern Cloggers from 11:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. Spillwater Drives takes the stage at noon followed by Appalachian Smoke, Dave Adkins & Mountain Soul, Junior Sisk, The Seldom Scene, and a $100 cash drawing to close the show at 4 p.m.
The evening lineup starts with Simply Southern Cloggers at 5:45 p.m. and Appalachian Smoke taking the stage at 6 p.m. followed by Spillwater Drive, Dave Adkins & Mountain Soul, Junior Sisk, and The Seldom Scene. There will be a $100 cash drawing to close out the evening at 10 p.m.

The 24th annual spring bluegrass festival is produced by the Mountain View Bluegrass Assoc. Inc., a non-profit organization which benefits the Music Roots program for youth in the Mountain View area.

Reserved seating is available for the bluegrass festival, and preferred seats may be selected online.
Thursday tickets for an evening show only are $20 standard admission or $30 for premium seating (first five rows).
Friday and Saturday tickets are good for all shows that day, from noon until 10 p.m. Standard admission seats are $25 and premium seating (first five rows) are $40 per seat.

The Skillet Restaurant, which is located on-site at Ozark Folk Center State Park, will serve buffets in-between music shows on Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The state park also offers modern duplex cabin rooms which include complimentary shuttle service to-and-from Ozark Highlands Theater, The Skillet Restaurant and Craft Village.
