With the decrease in COVID-19 cases in the county and across Arkansas, White River Health System (WRHS) continues to modify visitor hours to better suit our patients and visitors.  Starting February 17, each patient hospitalized for conditions other than COVID-19 may now designate, upon admission, one person to stay with them through their entire stay.

The designated visitor will be supplied an armband allowing them one exit and re-entry per day from the facility.  With the exception of specific circumstances, no additional visitors will be allowed to visit the patient.  Visitors will continue to be screened at the door for visitor, patient, and staff safety.

People visiting White River Medical Center (WRMC) Monday through Friday during the hours of 6AM to 6PM, must enter through the East Entrance.  All other times, visitors must enter through the Emergency Department (ED). At Stone County Medical Center (SCMC), visitors must enter through the ED.

White River Health System (WRHS) continues to provide free 24/7 assessments on WaveLink for residents experiencing COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath. Patients can access WRHS telehealth service using any smartphone, tablet, or computer with webcam.

Visit WaveLink.WhiteRiverHealthSystem.com and use the code COVID-19 in the Enterprise box.  WRHS also has a Coronavirus Assessment Tool on the right side of our website: WhiteRiverHealthSystem.com
