Starting fall 2021-2022 school year, Mr. Tim Massey will be the new high school principal at Melbourne High School.   Mr. Massey is a 1985 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and has served Melbourne School District for 16 years and is starting his 29th year in public education.  He is married to Jennifer and has 4 children, Chase and Cameron Massey and Kennedy and Justus Cooper.

While at Melbourne, he coached boys basketball, girls basketball, served as athletic director, assistant principal, and was instrumental in starting the softball and football programs at Melbourne.

“I am excited to be home, meet the students and staff, and learn from them, and support them, and make their high school experience as great as it can be,” said Mr. Massey.  A chance to grow and the pride of Melbourne in its students, schools, and teachers motivated him to return home.  Mr. Massey is dedicated to providing a safe place for kids to learn, both emotionally and physically.

Although the future is unclear, one thing is certain, Mr. Massey will be an exceptional leader of Melbourne High School.
