According to Scott Hardin, spokesperson for the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA), medical marijuana sales are up over $8 million from this time last year.
“From January 1, 2025 to June 30, 2025, Arkansans spent a total of $144,217,095 on medical marijuana purchases at the state’s dispensaries. This is an increase of approximately $8.7 million from the same period in 2024. Overall pounds sold in 2025 total 38,793, an increase of 2,658 pounds from year to year,” Hardin said. “More than $2.76 million in state tax revenue was collected in June from medical marijuana. This brings total state tax revenue on medical marijuana to $16.19 million for 2025.”
The Arkansas Department of Health reports 110,539 active patient cards.
For the month of June, 6,319 pounds of medical marijuana were purchased for a total of $23,292,399.
Locally, sales included: Fiddler’s Green located in Mountain View which sold 95.42 pounds of medical marijuana in June; NEA Full Spectrum in Jonesboro, sold 157.46 pounds of medical marijuana in June;
Plant Family Therapeutics in Mountain Home sold 164.53 pounds of medical marijuana in June and Spring River Dispensary in Hardy, sold 97.59 pounds of medical marijuana in June.
