A Fulton County man is facing charges after threatening to kill a woman when she refused to give him money he had not earned.

According to an affidavit for warrant of arrest for 53-year-old Michael Dean Turner, filed July 11, on July 6, Fulton County Deputies responded to a residence on Hwy 87 North after the victim stated Turner had threatened to kill her.

The victim stated Turner had come to her home asking for money and her phone. The victim said Turner could use the phone, but she was not giving him money.

Turner became irate and stated he was going to kill the victim.

In speaking with the woman, authorities this was not the first time Turner had threatened her life, stating in recent past, Turner said he would burn her home to the ground and kill her.

The victim stated once the threat had been made during the July 6 incident, she removed herself from the situation and left the home in order to separate herself from Turner.

As a result, Turner has been charged with two counts of terroristic threatening in the first degree, a class D felony.

Bond for Turner was set at $5,000.
