Dr. Jeffery Summerhill of South Fork Health and Wellness has had his license suspended again by the Arkansas State Medical Board.
According to a post by South Fork Health and Wellness, on Monday, June 23, Dr. Summerhill was served with an Emergency Order of Suspension.
As a result, South Fork Health and Wellness in Salem will be closed until a hearing with the medical board scheduled for Aug. 7.
Additionally, Spring River Health and Wellness, Alternative Pain Management in Hardy is also closed until the matter is resolved.
“We remain confident that the claims will be fully vindicated in Dr. Summerhill’s favor,” the post read.
“In the meantime, Dr. Chapman at Intervention Pain Management in Mountain Home has graciously offered to assist by seeing some of our patients during this period. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and support during this time.”
