According to Vanessa Stigall, “The Ladies’ Auxiliary of Sidney has found a hidden gem! We discovered that back in the late 80s or early 90s the ladies serving then were preparing to make a cookbook.”
The book project was never completed, but as Stigall explains, “We have decided to finish it for them with not only their original recipes but those of the ladies of Sidney now.” Residents of the Sidney area were encouraged to contribute recipes earlier in the year so the book would be ready before the March 19 St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Sidney, Ark.
