The Izard County Sheriff’s Department is seeking applications for the position of Detention Officer. We have two openings: One for a male & one for a female.

No experience is necessary for these positions, training will be provided. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, a high school graduate, or have a GED. Successful applicants must pass a written exam as well as a psychological exam.
