Hot conditions will continue today despite slightly drier air remaining over central and northern Arkansas. Southern portions of the state will experience heat index values above the century mark again. Heat index values are expected to exceed 105 degrees across Ashley and Chicot counties, therefore a heat advisory is in effect for these counties.
