The Hardy History Association is pleased to announce the upcoming meeting with featured speaker is Professor Brooks Blevins. A native of Izard County, and the Noel Boyd Professor of Ozarks Studies at Missouri State University, Blevins is the author or editor of more than a dozen books, including the trilogy A History of the Ozarks. The presentation, “How to Talk Ozark in Seven Simple Steps,” is a fun look at Ozark history through the region’s unique dialect. The public is welcome. Free admission.
