Hardy History Assocation will host Arkansaw Traveller alumni at their June 2, 2022 meeting which will take place from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Old Hardy Gym, 203 School Street, Hardy, Arkansas.
Debbie Cooper will present “The Arkansaw Traveller” about her memories as an original cast member of the Arkansaw Traveller Folk Theater when it began in Hardy in 1968. She remained with the Theater until 1985 and will speak about how the Traveller community was a huge influence on her life, from the very beginning when Mr. Leo Rainey first informed her family of his intention to begin an amphitheater in Hardy!
