Griefshare, a 13 week seminar and support group to help people who are facing the loss of a loved one begins Jan. 10 at 10 a.m. at the Peace Lutheran Church in Cherokee Village.
According to Pastor Brian Pummell, the church has hosted the program many times In the past and those who have gone through have benefited.
“It is a nationally known program and offers a three part combination of a video presentation with counselors, grief exports and more. It also offers therapeutic group discussion time and the in home use daily work book to help one work through grief to joy,” Pummell said.
The cost of the program is $20 and includes a workbook for use at home. Griefshare is a non-denominational group meeting and beings at 10 a.m.
