Many events are being held across the tri-county area. Here is a list of Easter Events we are aware of.
The Horseshoe Bend Area Chamber of Commerce Easter Egg Hunt is April 8 at 10 at Crown Lake Resort. Pictures with the Easter Bunny will be offered and there will be a hayride around the lake.
A Community Egg-stravaganza will be held April 8 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Viola City Park. There will also be a bouncy castle, game booths, face painting, food and the Easter Bunny will make an appearance.
The Ash Flat Church of God will hold an Easter Egg Hunt April 8 at 11 at 124 Arnhart Street. Free Hamburgers and hot dogs will be followed by the hunt.
The Highland Elks Lodge #2539 will hold an Easter Egg Hunt April 8 at 11 a.m. at the Tohi Nature Trail in Cherokee Village.
The City of Hardy will hold it’s annual Easter Egg Hunt April 8 at 11 a.m. at Loberg Park in Hardy. All are invited and welcome to attend. Those who plan to attend are encouraged to arrive by 10:30 a.m.The Easter Bunny will be on site for pictures.
The Spring River Lions Club will hold their annual Easter Egg Scramble April 8 at 2 p.m. at the Mammoth Spring Ball Field.
The Ladies Auxiliary of Sidney will hold an Easter Egg Hunt April 8 at 4 p.m. at the park in Sidney, hot dogs, drinks and prizes will be awarded. This year, a special needs section has been added to provide children who may be come overwhelmed or overstimulated by large crowds may participate.
The Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Mt. Pleasant Southern Baptist Church will host an Easter Egg Hunt April 8 at 10 a.m. at the old Mount Pleasant School Grounds.
Abundant Life Church in Highland will hold an Easter Program at 6 p.m. at the church located next to the White River Medical Complex in Cherokee Village. All are invited to attend.
Highland Hills Baptist Church will hold a Flashlight Hunt April 8 at 7 p.m. for children ages 12 and under at the church located at 2021 hwy 62/412.
The 2023 Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the Cherokee Village Fire Department will be held April 9 at 2 p.m. at the Baseheart Fire Station, a rain date of April 16 has been set.
The Gospel Music Cowboy Church located at 7441 Hwy 58 in Williford will host an Easter Egg Hunt and Fish Fry April 22 at 3 p.m.
