Do you enjoy making soup? If so, the upcoming Cherokee Village United Methodist Church (CVUMC) Soup’er Bowl Fundraiser Competition may be for you.
The CVUMC will hold a Soup’er Bowl Fundraiser Feb. 8 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the church located at 21 Otter Drive in Cherokee Village.
The theme for the competition is NFL team, and competitors are encouraged to decorate their tables after their favorite NFL team.
Those who wish to enter the contest may call 870-257-3869. Prizes will be awarded as follows: Best Soup $100 Walmart Gift Card; Best Cornbread $50 Walmart Gift Card; Best Dessert $50 Walmart Gift Card and Best Decorated Table $25 Walmart Gift Card.
This event is open to the public and tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under.
Those who attend will be given unlimited bowls of soups, cornbread and/or desert.
All proceeds go to the Cherokee Village United Methodist Church Billage Bible School Program.
