On Jan 19, The Horseshoe Bend Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi(BSP) hosted a presentation by A. Renee Crowl, MNSc, FNP-C, APRN, nursing instructor at Ozarka College in Melbourne, AR. Crowl shared excellent information and handouts while educating the BSP sister members and their guests on Women’s Cardiological Health including warnings signs, good things to do to stay healthy, how to stay informed including when and where to go to get testing, and the importance of that information to a woman’s health.
Crowl explained that Baxter Health Care, Ozarks Healthcare, and White River Health each have good resources for the convenient monitoring of heart health with Baxter offering a more comprehensive package deal. She welcomed questions from the members and multiple guests who attended the meetingand was gracious with both information and thorough answersespecially about the differences between heart attack symptoms in women versus men.
The information was very much appreciated by all and Crowl was invited back!
