UPDATE: B & B Supply has partnered with Comfort Keepers this season to help with heaters. Thank you B & B!

Comfort Keepers Ministry is looking for a partner to help purchase heaters at cost. This need has become great and quickly, we have a budget to buy a specific type of heater we have researched at length and know to be effective. They milk house heater is named for it’s use when it was developed over 50 years when they were developed to keep dairy barns warm. They are ideal for keeping rooms warm at a reasonable operating cost.

In the past, we have had a pair of amazing partners, who with God’s blessing, made the impossible possible. These partners have since moved on to open their own business to serve this community, and at this time they do not have access to purchase heaters.

What Comfort Keepers needs this year is a business with access to order and receive heaters and the will to partner with us and sell us the heaters at cost, or if possible, to partner 50/50. Typically the heaters cost $20 each. At that price Comfort Keepers can, as a Ministry, buy 25 on our own. This year, we have already given out more than 26 of our heaters remaining from last year, and we don’t have many left.

If you’re interested in helping us keep this resource available to bring heat to families this winter, please let me know. We’d rather spend money locally than to purchase online.

Editors comment: Comfort Keepers is a 501c(3) charitable organization which has been stepping up for over 6 years to help quad-city residents when things go wrong. Lauren Siebert can be reached at (870) 373-1233.
