Yes, it’s very cold out there as of 7 pm CST. In fact, it’s dangerously cold in northwest Arkansas, with wind chill index values as low as 30 below zero. Readings are subzero in northern and central sections of the state.

Check out the Arctic plunge diving south toward the Gulf Coast as of 600 pm CST. Below zero temperatures were making it into northwest Arkansas. Wind chills in the northwest counties were 15 to 25 degrees below zero.
