The Spring River Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting both amateur and professional photographers to submit photos for its 2021 Annual Photo Contest by November 15, 2021. Both a people’s choice (through Facebook) and overall contest winner will be chosen. One photo will be chosen for the cover of the SRACC 2022 Annual Guide.
Photos need to be taken in the local Hardy, Highland, Cherokee Village, Ash Flat and surrounding communities of landmarks, landscapes, activities like kayaking, boating, fishing, swimming, camping, etc., animals, or general life in the area. They need to be available in a large format of 2mbs or more that can be enlarged and retain their resolution to be used for the Guide. Up to 10 photos per photographer can be entered. (Note: Although winterscapes may be entered, they are not usually chosen for the cover.)
Email photos one at a time to [email protected] with “Photo Contest Entry” in the subject line. Date and place of photo would be appreciated. Be sure to give the photographer’s full name and contact information. By participating in the contest, the photographer gives the Spring River Area Chamber of Commerce permission to print the photos in its publications and advertising. To be able to be on the cover of the guide, it will need to look good cropped in a portrait format.
The winners will be honored at the annual banquet, win $25, and will be featured in the annual chamber guide. But most of all, the winner will receive bragging rights.
