OK…..so where shall I take you….hmmmmm….I know….how about the ACNA….or better known as the Arts Center of North Arkansas….this little “Gem of the Ozarks” is located next to the Gazebo in the “Heart Of Town Center” in Cherokee Village.
This wonderful place is filled with Way Cool Art Work from some truly Talented Artists from this area….as you wander through the rooms you will see displays…each display is that of a local artist…their name is on display also, so if you are looking for a certain Artist, they can be easily found.
You will see art in the form of…Acrylics, Water Colors, Pouring Acrylics, Wire Wrapping, Jewelry Making and even Clay Molding to name a few….the Artworks are Amazingly Beautiful pieces of art to display at your house or wear for all to see….looking for a special card to send to your friend…well look no more….they have cards made from prints of the painting on the wall.
Looking for something to do on Thursday Nights beginning in Mid-September through Mid-October….well they have already booked bands to play on those Thursday nights in what will be known as…“Center Stage Thursdays”….so make plans to bring your lawn chairs and come out and listen to music under the stars…BUT WAIT….there is more….not only do they teach art classes…BUT….they also have Yoga and Tai Chi available to help you relax and stay calm….can we say….Holy Relaxation Batman.
This Saturday they are having their REOPENING…. September 4th…..from 10-4.
