The Arkansas Mobile ID is now available to Arkansans in the Samsung Wallet on Samsung Galaxy smartphones. Along with access to your Arkansas Mobile ID, the Samsung Wallet includes features such as Samsung Pay, Samsung Pass, digital home and car keys, digital asset management, and more. The Arkansas Mobile ID is also now available in the Google Wallet. In addition to your Arkansas Mobile ID, the Google Wallet contains everything protected in one place, payment and loyalty cards, concert tickets and more.
The Mobile ID, a digital driver’s license and ID, was launched in March. It is available to everyone with an Arkansas driver’s license or state ID for free. Arkansans can search and download the “Arkansas Mobile ID” app and enroll. It is a contactless, highly secure, state-approved credential that resides on a smartphone. It can be presented at participating businesses and venues as a valid form of ID. The process to obtain it takes less than five minutes.
The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration anticipates the Mobile ID will be available in the Apple Wallet in 2026.
Approximately 40,000 Arkansans have downloaded the Arkansas Mobile ID since it was launched in March. It is now accepted by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at airport check points throughout the United States.
