The annual fireworks celebration for the Ozark Acres community sponsored by Tim Bell, Tom Parsons and friends will be held July 1, beginning at dark. Fireworks will be shot off for the levy at Lake Vagabond. Everyone is invtied to join with friends and fmaily to enjoy the show. The Strawberry Fire Department Fireworks Show is July 1 at the Strawberry Ballfield. American Idol Finalist Marybeth Byrd and Cory Jackson will be in concert beginning at 6:30. There will be concessions offered prior to the fireworks which will begin at dark.
The City of Imboden’s Fireworks Show is July 1and will begin at dark. Those attending are asked to park around the Sloan Hendrix School for best viewing.
A community fireworks show will be held July 1at Bee Run Rv Park in Hardy. Concessions will be available and donations will be accepted to be used to support the community garden and fireworks for next year. Fireworks will begin at dark.
The 38th annual Independence Eve Lake Norfork Fireworks show will be held July 2between the Highway 101 and 62 bridges. The show will begin at dark.
Freedom Fest, sponsored by the Viola Solid Rock Assembly of God Church is July 2 at the church on Hwy 62-412 West in Viola. Food, drings, games, prizes and a large fireworks show will take place after dark. The community is encouraged to attend.
The 18th annual Celebrate Freedom event in Cave City will be July 3 at the Cave City Park. Music will begin at 7:30 p.m., with plenty of concessions available. Fireworks will follow at dark, there is no admission.
The Cherokee Village Firefitghters July 4Pancake Breakfast is July 4 from 6:30 until 12 noon at Baseheart Fire Station in Cherokee Village. Pancakes, Sausage and all the trimmings fro $10 a person, $5 for children under age eight. The boat parade on Lake Thunderbird begins at 7 p.m., sign up your boat by contacting the Thunderbird Marina. Thunder on Thunderbird fireworks show will follow and fireworks will be shot off from the Thunderbird Dam.
The City of Salem and Salem Chamber of Commerce Fireworks Show is July 4 beginning at dark at the Salem City Park.
The Evening Shade Community Events, VFW Auxiliary, Fire Department and Auxiliary and J.P. Buell Wilks will host the annal Picnic in the Park July 4 at the Evening Shade Walking Track beginning at 5 p.m. The event will feature hotdogs, refreshments, water fun, yard games as well as a fireworks show at dark. Refreshments will be served at the gym beginning at 5 p.m. The sponsors request no pets be brought to the event.
