Ozarka College proudly announces the kickoff of its yearlong 50th anniversary celebration, marking a half-century of providing life-changing experiences through education. The celebration was initiated at the College’s annual back-to-college in-service with a brief welcome and history of the college followed by a catered meal served by our friends at FNBC Bank. Ozarka Staff Council also provided door prizes for drawings throughout the day’s activities.

Themes of the celebration will be interwoven into the College’ special events, programs, and initiatives throughout the year, reflecting the college’s rich history and its continued commitment to innovation, growth, and service. This momentous year will highlight the College’s journey from its humble beginnings in 1975 to becoming a cornerstone of higher education and training in northcentral Arkansas.

“We are thrilled to celebrate 50 years of Ozarka College,” said Dr. Richard Dawe, Ozarka president. “This milestone is not only a time to reflect on our past achievements but also to inspire our future endeavors. We look forward to engaging with our entire community – students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends – as we celebrate our legacy and chart the course for the next 50 years.”

The college invites all members of the community to join in the celebration and participate in campus events throughout the year. For more information about the 50-year anniversary events, please visit www.ozarka.edu or contact 50th Committee Chair, April Killian at [email protected].
