Izard County was represented well at the District O-Rama held on June 18, 2021, at the CA Vines 4-H Center located in Ferndale, Arkansas.   Michael Paskewitz, Izard County Extension Agent and Staff Chair, and Elizabeth Daigle, Family and Consumer Science Agent, had the opportunity to travel with two of the four children representing Izard County 4-H at the District O-Rama.

Kacey T and Addysyn K competed in virtual competitions this year at O’Rama. They submitted their videos to district O’Rama. Kacey T won 4th place in her division, and Addysyn K won 11th in her division.

Jackson R and Serenity C attended in-person events at District O-Rama held at the C.A. Vines 4H Center in Ferndale, Arkansas. Jackson R won 3rd place in his division and Serenity C won an honorable mention in her division.

District O-Rama is certainly a great networking tool to get out and meet fellow state 4-H members. O’Rama meets are a small part in showing the growth and development of our 4-H youth.  The Youth enter competitions that interest them to develop their skills and style in presentation and knowledge in the categories.
