A spring food preservation workshop will be conducted on April 18by Elizabeth Daigle, Family and Consumer Science Agent. The workshop will be conducted at the Izard County Cooperative Extension Office. The workshop will be at 5:30 pm.
The items being processed will be delicious goodies you can enjoy year-round. A Tomato Salsa and a Hot Pepper Jelly are the items on the agenda, the summer gardens will be producing soon, and these two recipes are sure to delight! Light snacks will be provided at the workshop. As always you will be able to pick up your product the next day after proper cooling time in the jars.
The cost for the event is $20.00 and must be prepaid and registered at the Izard County Cooperative Extension Office 870.368.4323 by April 16.
